Billy Joe Pyle


Billy Joe Pyle III (yes, that is his real name) represents the art branch of the founder’s “three-legged stool”.

Billy Joe began his career at TG Advertising/Communications in Clinton, NJ, working on packaging and inserts for Janssen, as well as brochures for Pfizer’s Howmedica division. He learned the ropes of direct marketing and interactive at EURO RSCG’s Devon Direct in Berwyn, PA, before taking a position at BC Design (also in Pennsylvania).

From there, he freelanced at Tierney & Partners in Philadelphia, as well as Gillespie – which turned into a full-time job supervising a team of art directors and graphic artists. He has worked on some of the world’s most prominent brands, including British Telecom, Fleet Bank, IBM, and Westinghouse. Later, Billy Joe and Al teamed up to create the iconic “Twin Towers” memorial ad for the Port Authority in the wake of 9/11.

Billy Joe lives near the Delaware River in Upper Black Eddy, PA, with his wife and three young daughters. He is a fly-fisherman, outdoorsman, and guitarist.

RANDOM FACT: Billy won a taco eating contest by consuming 21 tacos.
