Clinton, N.J. — Mint Advertising, a full-service advertising agency with its main headquarters in Clinton, N.J. and a satellite office in Allentown, Pa., won two silver American Advertising (ADDY) Awards at a ceremony hosted by the Philadelphia Ad Club in center city Philadelphia on March 2. Mint’s first silver ADDY of the evening was for a brochure the agency created for Domino’s Pizza’s “Smart Slice,” a fresh and tastier alternative to traditional frozen pizza served by some school cafeterias The second award honored a direct mail piece produced by Mint for Tower Water.

The piece demonstrated the difference between Tower Water and their competitors by featuring a clear piece of plastic pipe that revealed that it’s what’s inside, or in Tower Water’s case–not inside your pipes that counts. As silver ADDY Award winners, both pieces will advance to the regional and national competitions. The American Advertising ADDY Awards Competition is the industry’s largest and most comprehensive program for recognizing creative excellence. Each year it showcases the best in creative talent within the Greater Philadelphia advertising community.

The pieces are judged by creative officers and creative directors from advertising agencies across the United States. “Obviously it’s an honor for all of us here at Mint to win these ADDY Awards, particularly since the work is judged by top creatives from across the country,” says Al Navarro, Mint’s Chief Creative Officer. “We’re equally as happy for the clients who placed their trust in us and gave us the freedom to come up with these creative solutions for them.”
